HD Hyundai Construction Equipment won top honors with the Platinum Prize at the ‘Inspire Awards’ in recognition of its global ESG communication prowess.
On the 18th (Wednesday), the company announced that it has won the Grand Prize (Platinum), the highest grade, at the ‘2024 Inspire Awards’ hosted by the League of American Communications Professionals LLC (LACP).
As the world's largest corporate communications publication evaluation competition, the 'Inspire Awards' annually evaluates management reports, promotional materials, and internal and external publications of major companies worldwide, including Fortune 500 companies.
HD Hyundai Construction Equipment submitted its '2023 Integrated Report, English version' published in August, and attained full marks in five of the six evaluation areas, including first impression, narrative, design, clarity, and relevance, earning 99 points out of 100, resulting in its first Platinum Prize.
The company has been publishing its integrated report every year since 2020 so as to promote and instill ESG management throughout corporate management and share its corporate value creation progress with stakeholders.
With this award from a global rating agency, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment has validated its outstanding ESG management prowess both at home and abroad, complemented by last year's Presidential Award for Corporate Innovation hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and its selection as an ESG Leading Company by the Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability.
Also, group affiliates HD Hyundai Oilbank and HD Korea Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering won the Gold and Silver Awards at the ‘Spotlight Awards’, respectively.
An HD Hyundai Construction Equipment official said, “Leveraging our brand identity (Comfort Intelligence), we will maintain and deliver corporate efforts to practice sustainable management supported by accurate data,” and added, “Based on more transparent ESG management performance, we will solidify our stance as a national eco-friendly construction equipment company trusted by customers.”
Meanwhile, HD Hyundai Infracore also won the Grand Prize at the ‘2023 Vision Awards’ hosted by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) in August.
